Client
Citadium is a flagship fashion retail brand in France with a demanding and engaged community. Its international e-commerce platform handles high volumes and targets ambitious business goals.
- +400,000 unique users / month
- ~2.3% conversion rate
- ~$20M annual revenue
- Desktop and mobile journeys with high UX/UI stakes
Mission
As part of the full brand overhaul led by W3lead, I redeveloped the entire front end of Citadium’s international e-commerce site in a PHP/Twig environment. Ambitious project with very high expectations in UX, UI, and animation. I delivered 95% of the front end solo.
View website- Architecture: modular templates (Twig partials), reusable layout system, pixel-perfect UI components.
- Stack: HTML · SCSS (clear architecture) · JavaScript ES6.
- Performance & Core Web Vitals: media lazy loading, responsive images (
srcset
/sizes
),preload
/preconnect
, critical CSS, minification. - Technical SEO: clean semantic markup, metadata, carefully designed internal linking.
- Accessibility: keyboard navigation, focus states, contrasts, essential ARIA roles.
- Creative development: micro-interactions and refined animations with no impact on load and overall fluidity.

Legal pages “opening crawl”
I made the legal pages roll like Star Wars, because why not ? Mostly CSS, tiny JS, big drama, fully accessible.
Wishlist animation
We spark surprise at the exact moment of intent. CSS/SVG-first with minimal JS: a tiny script spawns randomized hearts that glide along SVG paths with smooth transitions. The result is a lightweight, fluid micro-interaction that sticks in memory and quietly builds loyalty without sacrificing performance.
